Welcome to Taipei
Taipei is changing and becoming increasingly tourist-friendly with new attrac-tions recently opened and more planned for the future. Our visitors tell us that they enjoy the convenience of MRT, which is easy for foreigners to use and matches the standards of similar systems in Tokyo and European cities.

Taipei is an international city with a flourishing social scene, modern, convenient facilities and a welcoming tourist environment. To demonstrate Taipei's diversity of natural and cultural features, we have planned a series of activities themed around four seasons: flowers, culture, culinary delicacies and hot springs, which we hope that to provide different experiences for
visitors.

As well, each month, there will be representative tourist activities, twelve in all. These are the Promenade and Bazaar for the New Year Party in January, Taipei Lantern Festival in February, Taipei Film Festival in March, the Birthday of Bao Sheng DaDi, God of Medicine in April, Taipei Indigenous Peoples' Cultural Festival in May, Taipei International Dragon Boat Race Championships in June, Taipei Children's Art Festival in July, Taipei Season for Chefs in August, Confucius Ceremony in September, Taipei International Hot Springs Festival in October, Taipei International Travel Fair in November, and the Taipei New Year Party in December.

We hope that these festivals and events will help tourists learn more about our diverse culture and artistic achievements and we look forward to welcoming you ad our gusts.
