June ~Taipei International Dragon Boat Race Championships
The Dragon Boat races are a consistent element of the Dragon Boat Festival.The races originated from a ceremony to offer sacrifice to the river god, then they became a memorial for the poet-patriot Chu Yuan. As we continue the tradition, each year more and more international teams compete. The Dragon Boat Championships are not only an athletic event, but also an opportunity for international exchange.

July ~ Taipei Children's Art Festival
The main focus of the Taipei Children's Arts Festival is dramatic art. Local communities, schools, parents, arts and literary associations and many more all come together to participate in the multidimensional Drama Seed Activities.
This inspires children's drama as well as strengthening its roots. The Festival includes many facets of creativity and arts appreciation, but all emphasize the importance of play. Ahands-on approach stimulation learning by osmosis is used to engage the spirit of the child, using dramatic performances fusing the creative performing arts, visual arts and stories of everyday living.

August ~Taipei Season for Chefs
Taipei city, the center of Chinese food, renowned for its Chinese dishes cooked in either traditional or new ways, deeply beloved and recognized by both local
people and foreign tourists, can be called "the paradise for gourmets". To satisfy people who love Chinese cuisine, the Tourism Commission of Taipei Municipal Government especially plans to launch a "Taipei Season for Chefs"activity ,displaying especially a cornucopia of Chinese food, as so to let all gourmets taste those delicacies to their hearts' contents ,in the period from Chinese Valentine Festival to the Midautumn Festival.
